Dear Friends

Living in Florida entitles you to witness some incredible bouts of rain! Being from England I am well used to rain but not quite in the quantities that fall from the sky here. The incredible thing about Floridian rain is the speed at which the ground soaks up the water - it is like a sponge that absorbs every drop that falls.

I love the scripture on the right from Joel 2:23 which says that God sends the rains as an expression of His grace. We all long for God's refreshment, healing and restoration in our lives, and in the last couple of weeks we have had the privilege of witnessing this on our Freedom from Fear courses in Minnesota and Florida. I want to encourage you with a few testimonies from delegates who experienced the grace of God in their lives during these events...

New Ministry Team Training School

Do you have a heart for seeing the healing love of Jesus ministered to those in need? Are you already involved in a ministry team, altar team or small group, but would like further training? Do you see needs in your family or friends but do not know how to pray effectively for them? If so, we have a training school designed especially for you.

The aim of the Ministry Team Training School is to provide an environment that equips Christians to minister more effectively to friends, family or people in their local church. This very practical school will focus on ‘how to minister’ to various needs and there will be group work and open forum times. It will be held from December 3-8, 2007 in Brandon, Florida. Ellel USA Church Visits

A key part of the vision for Ellel Ministries is to be a resource to the local church and to help pastors and leaders bring the vital message of healing and discipleship to the Body of Christ. This can be acheived through the training of ministry teams on our Ministry Team Training School (see above), through our Truth and Freedom DVD series for small groups or by holding Church Visits for the general membership.

These special visits are considered on the request of the pastor or leader and usually consist of a one-day conference and possibly involvement in the Sunday services. For more information please click here or contact our office.

Principles of Care, Counselling & Ministry

This course looks at what it means to be involved in helping others through caring, counselling and prayer. Who we are and our heart attitudes are more important than what we know. Relational skills are discussed and demonstrated, with an opportunity being given to use them in practical workshops. Many people have testified that they found this course very encouraging and that through it God was confirming their calling into the healing ministry and starting to equip them for this task.
