Dear Friends,

As I sit and write this to you, the world is becoming increasingly anxious with news of the global spread of Swine Flu. Talk of threat levels being raised by the World Health Organization and comparisons with previous influenza outbreaks (such as the 1918 'Spanish Flu' when millions of people lost their lives) are creating an atmosphere of fear and anxiety.

This, coming at a time when so many people are already struggling with the consequences of a global financial crisis and recession, means you don't have to look far to see people wrestling to find some kind of security and safety.

The positive aspect of all of this is that it forces us to evaluate where our true security lies. Things are not going to get easier - just read Matthew 24. But in verse 6, Jesus says, 'See that you are not frightened'

Our challenge is, are we ready? Are we prepared? I don't mean have we 'done enough', I simply mean have we discovered enough. Have we rooted ourselves so firmly in our relationship with God that we know His true character and person? Have we surrendered our hearts to Him in such a way that we have let Him truly come and take His place as Lord and King of our lives? Do we fully know what it means to be a child of God because that is the only place we will discover the security and safety that we long for.

Psalm 91 reminds us that we can live in the shelter of the Most High. How precious. How Safe. How Secure. I would encourage you to channel the efforts of your heart and your life into finding this Psalm 91 place. A place where the fear of pandemics and monetary collapse holds no power, and a place where we can truly say "He is Lord!"

6 Days of Transformation

At the end of June we are holding our Truth & Freedom 6-Day School. We will be looking at subjects like inner healing, deliverance, forgiveness, rejection, sexuality and fear. There will be interactive group times, open forums and ministry times. 2009 Modular School

If you are not able to take a whole week out for training you might want to consider our hugely popular Modular School of Healing & Discipleship. The first Modular School was held in the UK in 1994 and since then it has been held all over the world and has deeply impacted many lives. Principles for Care, Counseling & Ministry
May 15-16, 2009 at Ellel USA, FL

This course looks at what it means to be involved in helping others through caring, counseling and prayer. Guidelines for ministry including relational skills are discussed and demonstrated, with an opportunity being given to use them in practical workshops. Many people have testified that they found this course very encouraging and that through it God was confirming their calling into the healing ministry and starting to equip them for this task.

The Father Heart of God

This course will explore what the Bible tells us about the character of God as a Father, and His heart of love for His children. It brings understanding and truth where lies and wounding have prevented so many of God’s children from truly knowing the love of their Heavenly Father. There will also be an opportunity to respond to the teaching and receive prayer ministry during the event.
