Moving Under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit

To live the abundant life that Jesus came to give us, we need to be living and moving under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This course will help Christians who struggle to understand and exercise spiritual gifts. It is also relevant for those who are being called to minister God's healing love to others. This course helps people to enter into the baptism of the Holy Spirit and exercise - perhaps for the first time - spiritual gifts. The ministry time provides opportunity for prayer to release blockages and obstacles that may be hindrances to being released in the Holy Spirit. The introductory session explains how God communicates to His children and empowers them with His Holy Spirit. This is contrasted with the strategy and work of the enemy. This sets the context for the further specific teaching as follows: Biblical examples of Holy Spirit anointed leadership Scriptural examples of how God's chosen leaders moved under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. From these are drawn important principles which we can apply to our own lives.

Identifying obstacles

This teaching addresses the nature, significance and experience of baptism in the Holy Spirit for the individual believer. Steps to receiving baptism in the Holy Spirit are explained and the main blockages to receiving this are explained.

Overcoming obstacles

This practical teaching highlights blockages which can restrain the work of the Holy Spirit in a person's life. These include the consequences of our own sins and those of others against us, life experiences, misunderstandings and wrong belief systems.

Using the gifts of the Spirit

Biblical teaching is given on the various gifts of the Holy Spirit and these are contrasted with the fruit of the Spirit. How to identify and exercise the gifts is clearly explained. This relevant and practical course, drawing on extensive ministry experience, offers an opportunity to grow in the use of the gifts in a safe and secure environment and learn how to use them in praying for and building up others.
