The vision for Ellel Ministries USA is to provide effective training for those seeking to minister to the hurting and broken members of our churches and society, at the same time as offering personal prayer ministry to those in need. These objectives are continually being fulfilled in Ellel Centers around the world and now, through the building of a residential training and ministry facility in Lithia, Florida, the work will become firmly established in the USA.

The Outworking of the Vision of Ellel USA

The work will follow the well established pattern of all other Ellel Ministries Centers and will embrace the following activities:

• Long-term Training Schools
  Life-changing schools of up to 9 weeks duration, offering significant training and personal help, with the aim of enabling people to be more effective in ministering to those in need. The schools provide concentrated teaching interspersed with discussion, group work, personal ministry and practical experience.
  
  
• Healing Retreats & Ministry Days
  Events which provide an opportunity for those in need to receive personal prayer ministry. Thousands of these free events have been held at Ellel Centers around the world with amazing testimonies of lives being healed by the Lord.
  
  
• Pastors & Leaders Retreats
  Special free retreats designed for church and ministry leaders who are in need of refreshment, encouragement and personal prayer ministry.
  
  
• Healing through Creativity
  Events which help people to discover their God-given creativity which may have been crushed though life’s experiences. These events have proved to be especially meaningful and powerful healing experiences for those who have suffered from deep trauma. Amazing healing results from discovering our true identity in God.
  
  
• Short Courses
  One to six day events which offer relevant teaching and prayer ministry into a large range of specific subjects.
  
  
• Family Vacation Weeks
  Special times for the whole family where the parents can receive teaching and ministry while the kids are being looked after. There will also be plenty of opportunity to enjoy family time together using our recreational facilities.
  
  
• Church Weekends at English Acres
  Church groups will also be welcome use the facilities for special retreats at English Acres - a wonderful opportunity to both receive great teaching and build relationships.
  
  
• Off-Site Teaching and Seminars
  Training and ministry events at locations around the United States at the invitation of a church or group of churches.

The vision for the work at English Acres will also include teaching and ministry in Spanish and provide training for Pastors and Leaders from South America.

 

Facilities...

The new building will include the following vital facilities:

• Conference Rooms (250 seater, 60 seater and 30 seater)
• Dining Hall (250 seater) and Kitchens
• Healing Retreat Center (conference room for 80 and
  12 private ministry rooms)
• Creativity Center
• Student Facilities (lounge, study, work-out room and laundry)
• 56 twin bedrooms on the second floor
• Bookshop & Cafe area
• Multiple lounge and seating areas
• Administration Offices
• Outside decking and seating areas
• Lakeside & woodland walking trails

Building Development Costs...

The overall cost of the building development is $12.6 million which can be broken down into the following phases:

• Phase 1: Pre-Building Costs - $520,000
  This includes fees for architects, engineers, surveying and permits.
  
  
• Phase 2: Site Development Costs - $1.31 million
  This includes site excavation, water, fire and sewer work, roads and paving, landscaping and electrical work.
  
  
• Phase 3:
  
  • Building Construction Costs - $7.85 million
    
    
  • Fixtures & Fittings - $450,000 (This includes kitchen equipment, conference room facilities, computers and phone systems, furniture etc.)
    
    
  • Recreational Facilities & Swimming Pool - $170,000
    
    
  • Land acquisition and Staff Housing - $2.3 million
