We are currently looking for a grounds person who has knowledge and experience of basic English gardening. The ideal candidate has a vision for creating a lovely natural environment for people to enjoy. This role primarily includes the maintenance of the lawns, flowerbeds and woodlands. Applicants need to be fairly fit, have a heart for gardening and be self motivated. A certificate in chainsaw handling and a driving licence to drive the tractor would be a bonus.

Site and Facilities Department

The Site and Facilities department is responsible for all aspects of the buildings, services, and 35 acres of grounds. Pierrepont consists of a number of different buildings including the Main House, a 140 years old two star listed building, two listed buildings and several other buildings of various ages. As an indication of our size, we can accommodate well over 100 guests and 80 staff. The Site and Facilities Team have all the necessary skills to maintain and repair these buildings and the grounds, and also to develop areas requiring renovation.
