Starting salary: Up to £14,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Sovereign World Ltd, a well respected Christian book publishing company, is currently seeking an experienced full-time in house Copy Editor. We principally require a person with a keen interest in Christian teaching who can review and edit manuscript material submitted by an author. Such editing has the goal of correcting grammar irregularities and inconsistencies and of correcting punctuation, spelling, usage, structure and style. The work, which will be based near Lancaster, will involve liaising with our authors so excellent communication and computer skills are essential. The work will also involve copy writing for our ongoing marketing, advertising and website requirements.
