Job Vacancy for Personnel/Human Resources Officer/Manager

Ellel Grange needs a polished HR professional with a heart for the Christian healing ministry, who can oversee all personnel aspects of working at Ellel Grange, ensuring adherence to employment law requirements. The right candidate will be able to establish good relationships quickly, build trust within the team and will serve with a willing heart, promoting Biblical standards at all times.  

Specific Responsibilities:

• Work closely with line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures as set out by Ellel Ministries.
• Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.
• Recruit new team members - this includes developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.
• Processing visa applicants.
• Implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
• Maintaining personnel records.
• Listening to grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.
• Advising managers on sickness and other leave of absence.
• Planning and delivering inductions for new staff.
