Job Vacancy for Cook

At Ellel Glyndley Manor, UK

We are seeking a cook to join a small team of cooks and kitchen assistants at Glyndley Manor. The applicant will need to be able to cook a variety of good quality ‘home-style’ meals for numbers of around 30-80 or more per sitting, be able to plan menus, assist with stock control, keep a clean hygienic kitchen and adhere responsibly to food hygiene requirements.

Must be able to work five days a week including weekends, and be able to work alongside our current catering team and international Young Peoples Team.

Our cooks are in contact with other team members from a range of backgrounds and may also be in contact with guests, so good interpersonal skills are essential as is a heart for the Christian healing ministry.

Given our ethos as a Christian community, applicants are required to be Christians and have a heart for our healing ministry.

Allowances are offered based on individual need. Some roles within Ellel Ministries are offered as living-in positions, offering full board and shared accommodation and a small allowance to cover personal expenses.

Applicants will need to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
