Bringing The Heart of God To The Heart of Man

Earlier this year, we completed our fifth Flagship and are preparing for our sixth one next year in 2011 when we celebrate our 25th anniversary here at Ellel Grange. We thought you may be interested to see what happened on the 2010 Flagship Programme and read some of the testimonies.

On this year’s 9 week Flagship Programme, we had 30 people from 13 nations and 15 ethnic groups including Austria, Canada, Germany, Holland, Italy/Romania, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, UK and USA/Russia. Some of these delegates were working in other countries as missionaries. It was wonderful to have pastors from Africa and Malaysia being equipped and strengthened in fellowship and healing, and enjoying the goodness of God.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You may note two major changes in the photograph compared to 2009 in that Martin Knapp has stepped into Ian Coates’ place as Centre Director with his wife Ginny with Mocha the pointer, and Harris sadly has passed away.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sadly

All the delegates testified to the effect the teaching had on their lives and testified to the wonderful changes in their lives through the prayer they had and the experiences they went through.

For example the creative workshops allowed some to be touched deep within their spirit.

It was truly a life changing experience for all involved.

The timetable was full with teaching, workshops, practical ministry experience.

Lots of fun was had with the Messianic dancing and with trips out to the Lake District and seeing Liverpool from the Mersey Ferry.

 

 

Testimonies from the 2010 Flagship Programme

 

Rev James from Kenya said, “I came expecting healing to take place in my life, but I received so much light, and now I feel better equipped and ready to serve the Lord.. I also received spiritual tools to work with in the ministry. My prayer is for God to keep Ellel Ministries growing so that many ministers of the gospel like me can come and receive healing when they’re wounded.

I also feel much more love for my family and now I know how to deal with some of the problems, especially with the children. The Flagship Programme has helped me in so many ways. I came wounded and full of fear of failure and rejection.

My father never showed me love and affirmation. I grew up taking much responsibility on my shoulders. I didn’t know that God wasn’t judging me, and that He accepts me for who I am rather than what I do. It’s opened my eyes and light has been shed on many areas which I was struggling with, even in my ministry. Trauma in my life has been healed and I’ve become emotionally whole. I couldn’t swim because of my fear of water but through the Flagship Programme, and with much encouragement, I’m confident now in the swimming pool.

“I had the arrogance to think that I would learn humility very quickly. I now realise that I made the first step as I learned to serve God, and found that He used me to help others. “I came for tools and information to use in my ministry – but I was given so much more – healing. I have been a “stuffer” of my emotions and dissociated since childhood. God is healing my memories and my emotions. I can now feel angry and even cry. I feel like God did things in my life I can’t explain or even name – but I now have the keys and tools to use in my own life, and the ministry God has given me. I praise God and give Him all the glory for His work in me and His plans for my life! Thank you for coming alongside me and my classmates – even in the really hard times - and for your patience.”

 

“Huge things happened. I chose life and I understood God’s love and grace for me. I felt so safe that I wanted to be in touch with reality as much as possible. I started to see the past for how it really was. God’s presence went into those dark places. I saw that there was still a little girl inside. Now I really want to grow up because I know that Jesus is always with me. There’s a new sense of belonging and I no longer feel dependent on my parents and my brothers. There’s so much hope for me now because Jesus rules my life. Before, because of sin, abuse and loneliness, I couldn’t cope with life. Now I feel ready to live life walking in the truth.

David from the UK testified, “The Lord has set me free, having convicted me deeply. He has restored my spirit and I have started to hear from my Father and to get to know Him more. I have come to the point of total surrender to Him and His will for my life. I am at the crossroad and waiting on the Lord for His direction. I have been given the tools which I know the Lord wants me to use to minister to others. The need for me now is to walk in my healing and assimilate the teaching and practical help I have received. The Flagship has been a life-changing experience and I am thankful to the Lord for the opportunity of being on it!”

 

 

Each delegate has a powerful testimony of what God has done in their lives. There were many tears when we heard the testimonies and we were so inspired and excited to realise what God can do with these dear lives. Some of testimonies will be loaded onto the website www.ellelministries.org
