Dear Reader, It is hard to say we are coming to the end of summer as it doesn’t actually feel like the sun has had its chance to shine this year. Sadly this has led to a much smaller crop of fruit and vegetables anticipated from our garden. However, God has continued to bless us abundantly in His mercy, grace and healing power. We were thrilled that our new courses were received so well and that the building work for the disabled rooms have begun.

Wonderful Gift from Local Dutch School
When we received a telephone call from a Modular Graduate saying that the local Dutch School was closing and asked if we would like any of the redundant furnishings, we had no idea what was to come.
As the day approached for us to receive the items our eyes widened as we saw three large trucks arriving, full of furniture, computers, art and craft materials, shelving units, AV equipment, and much, much more! On top of which they brought 6 men who did all of the shifting of the goods into storage.

Disabled Rooms in ProgressIn our last e-newsletter we mentioned that we hoped to start work on the development of two disabled en-suite bedrooms. We are now in the process of doing just this, with thanks to support from a local charity who offered to sponsor some of the work.
Please continue to pray for all of the development work: for resources and for safety of all those working on the projects.

Spreading the Word of Ellel ScotlandIn August, we had an exciting week where we had a stand at the Keswick in Buckie convention, held about 25 miles north of Blairmore. It was a blessed time of bridge building and meeting with local Christians; many of whom had no idea we were here! This led us to think about how we can effectively spread the word that Ellel Ministries Scotland exists and wants to be a service to the local church and wider afield.

Team UpdateWe welcomed Jess Sawyers onto our Young People’s Team in August and sadly said goodbye to Rebekah and Caitlin as their respective times with us came to an end. Rebekah will continue her teacher training and Caitlin hopes to start Bible College in the autumn. We are blessed to have several short-term volunteers join us for a few weeks over the next months; which is always a blessing and eases the pressure on the rest of the team.
