Dear Friend,

A lot has been happening since our November eNewsletter. At the end of February we had our Arise Conference in Blackpool. It was both inspirational and challenging. We thank all those who attended and gave so sacrificially, especially for the work in Israel. This was followed directly by our Executive Board meeting and the International Leaders' meeting here at Ellel Grange for the next week. It's amazing what the Lord is doing around the world, most of it unseen by the 'world'.

The next major event coming up is our 9 Week Flagship School, beginning 2^nd May 2009. This School is filling up, and there is a great need by a number of the students coming from Pakistan,India and Africa for financial assistance and prayer. Please read their testimonies as well as those from the 2008 Flagship School and see if the Lord leads you to sponsor them in any way.

The testimonies from three former students have been truly amazing and the evidence of lives transformed as they have returned to their countries and put the teaching into practice. This is what Ellel Ministries is all about: building and equipping the Body of Christ in these last days. You will see from the countries mentioned that the effects of students returning home, armed with a greater understanding of the Word of God and how to apply it, will have a major impact on the lives of many millions of suffering people.

 

Cyril and Aggie lead Ellel India, but are also pastors in the fastest growing church in India, now 55000 and still growing. They also oversee a discipleship training centre. They were sponsored to come to the 9 Week Flagship for training in 2008.

Aggie and I are so thankful to God and to Ellel Ministries for the privilege of being on the 2008 Flagship School. For us it has been a dream come true and an answer to prayer, even though it took 13 years in coming to pass.

When we came to the Flagship School,we were impacted by the way we were received.We felt loved, appreciated and valued. Right through the school we have been impressed and impacted by the staff and team for we have seen the life of Jesus exemplified by them, in that they are living lives laid down and are pouring themselves out into people like us.

We feel quite equipped and trained to depend on the Holy Spirit to walk in the Lord's future plan for us.For the last two years we have been working with Ellel Ministries in India and had a deep desire to see this teaching brought in a greater way into our church, New Life Fellowship, and to the wider body of Christ in Mumbai. We were praying that the Lord would enable us to raise up at least 30 prayer ministers of which 12 have been raised up. Now as we go from here we plan to set up a prayer support group to pray for the vision of Ellel India,and to do all we can to see this ministry reach the churches in and around Mumbai. Please pray for us.

Christianity in Pakistan is mostly spread through social work, individual conversion, education and hospitals. The biggest weakness in the Pakistani churches is lack of education and spiritual teaching. Most Christians are poor and illiterate.

I am being led to see the ministry of Ellel Ministries come not only to Hindi speaking, but to Marathi, Gutrati and Bengali speaking people in India.

 

I have been longing to attend the 9 week school since 2006. I am excited at the prospect of how God will use the things He is going to deposit in my spirit. May His Name be glorified always.

 

We are also hoping that three other members of Cyril and Aggie's Indian team will be sponsorship for this Flagship School by those able to give in this way. We may not be able to go to India ourselves to minister there, but we still can be part of what the Lord is doing in India by helping those who are already their to be equipt. May the Lord bless you in Jesus' name.
