Dear Friend, Well 2008 has certainly started with an exciting flurry of activity here at Ellel Grange! After only two days back at work in January several of our team set off on a trip that has been one of the most significant in all their lives. They were joining with a larger International Ellel Ministries Team who had been invited to run two special conferences in Israel at Carmel and Jerusalem. When after almost two weeks they returned, it was wonderful to hear that both conferences had been times of great blessing. In each venue there had been the awareness that God had made the arrangements and set up the meetings, hand picking those who were able to be alongside God's precious people, bringing His love and ministering into the hurts and pains on an individual basis. One day I would also love to visit Israel to walk in the very land that all the bible characters walked in, all those years ago, knowing that this same Jesus is alive today. You might have the impression that everything stopped here at Ellel Grange whilst such important things were going on in Israel, but you would be wrong. For those on team who remained here, in addition to carrying on with running our weekend courses and retreats as normal and praying for the fulfilment of all that God had planned for Israel, the team contended with a crashed computer system. This allowed time for a major mail-out for a really special conference taking place right here in the North West. We are so excited to be involved with 'Premier Christian Radio and Premier Lifeline' in presenting a one day Manchester Conference in the Maxwell Hall in Salford University on March 8th. This conference will be a whole day of teaching by our International Director Peter Horrobin on Healing through Forgiveness, and Freedom from Trauma. I was born in Manchester and know people in lots of the churches in the area, and so I'm really interested in this conference in my 'home town'. During 2007 we saw God work in lots of people's lives, bringing real healing when God's ideas of forgiveness were applied in their lives. Of course the other brilliant news is that we will be having the 9 week Flagship School here again on 5th May for 9 weeks. Last year we had 38 people here from 17 nations and many long term friendships were established during those wonderful days. Some had been fully sponsored to be able to be with us. This idea of sponsoring someone else to be able to receive the core teaching and take it back into their own nation is something we want to really encourage. So many nations have pastors and leaders who are seeing the benefit of receiving these foundational keys for healing, but are financially never able to fund themselves, yet we in the West are comparatively so wealthy. If you would like to sponsor someone yourself, or maybe your church would like to set up sponsorship for someone from a particular nation, please contact us here at Ellel Grange, we would love to hear from you. So here we are only eight weeks into 2008 and so much has happened already. I have worked with the team here for nearly 11 years and every day is another adventure as we see God opening up new opportunities for us to "Go into all the world and Preach this Good News to every people" Andrew Stewart Site and Facilities Manager |

Behind the Scenes at Ellel GrangeAn Interview with Peony from Hong Kong member of Young People's TeamHow were you lead to come to Ellel Grange? After I graduated in psychology, a friend told me about Ellel Ministries, because I wanted to have a 'gap' year. I was interested in the healing and deliverance. I applied and was successful with my visa. All the doors opened, so I concluded that God opened them. What are you involved with and how has God been leading you? I work in the house, cleaning the bedrooms and toilets and also in the kitchen cooking food.I attend courses and Healing Retreats as an observer. God has been teaching me to serve and to be independent; to be able to look after myself. Also to get along with people from different countries. I have been learning about the Gospel, the healing and deliverance of His people, His word and to spend more time with God. Where do you believe the Lord is leading you? I would like to be involved in praying, the healing and deliverance ministry, counselling and maybe serve in China. I am thinking about serving in a young people's fellowship and ministering to disabled orphans. |
