Ellel Grange
19th June 2008

Dear {!firstname},

In the last eNewsletter Andrew Stewart commented that we had started the year in a flurry of activity. This has not stopped and we marvel at God's grace in enabling us to do all that He has called us to fulfil. The Grange Centre has had a major facelift behind the scenes with alteration and re-location of offices due to the organisational changes that have taken place. The International HQ is still based at Ellel Grange, but the functions have been distributed differently. As the organisation has grown we have realised that we could not support the future needs with our present set up. So we have separated the Centre function out from the HQ functions and created a new International Director's Office (IDO) here at the Grange under the direction of Peter Horrobin that will deal with all the pioneering aspects of the ministry. The corporate management work and support to the rest of the ministry will now be based at Pierrepont in the Corporate Management Team (CMT) under Jill Southern.

If you look at the expansion of Ellel Ministries since its conception in 1986 to the present day, we have doubled in size every five years. You can see why we need to put in place a structure which will support any further expansion and not have a situation were we cannot keep up with what God is doing!

At present we are halfway through our third 9 week Flagship School with 47 people from 16 different nations represented. Israel is represented for the first time on the school by four people that found out about this ministry through the two conference conducted in Israel in January. So pray for our students as they move into applying what they have been learning as they minister to one another in a safe environment, before learning to minister to others on two healing retreats. We give thanks to those who have generously give to sponsoring a number of these students who could not have afforded to be here.

If you have never been to Ellel Grange you are cordially invited to join us on the 28th June for a Free Introductory Training Day to "Taste and see that the Lord is Good." Then join us at 7:30pm for an 'Evening with Frida' who was buried alive during the Rwandian genocide and how the Lord has healed her.

Beginning of August we start a new 3 day event QUIVER for the younger generation (18 - 35's) that was developed by Ellel Australia. Prevention is better than cure, so pray that right young people will attend to understand more about 'Realities of Relationships'

Behind the scenes at the Grange we have a regular activity which we do not advertise. Many people who come on our courses and healing retreats are healed and delivered, but for some it is just the start of what God is doing. They need to have some further help so we make provision for this by offering personal ministryopportunities. These may be from one day to a few weeks dependent upon the circumstances. Part of the re-development has been to completely re-build and refurbish our ministry suite. I realized that what we had done physically with the building was representative of what God was doing in the person's life. It is such a privilege to be involved in life-changing experiences and seeing God at work. One of the keys I believe to seeing a life transformed is that is that there is no exchange of money. To give freely to someone of your time and effort speaks into their spirit the worth and value that they have in who they are, not that they are just another commodity. This is only made possible by the generous giving of our supporting donations.

Thank you so much for partnering with us in this venture to build and equip the Body of Christ. Your love and time and prayers are vital to the ongoing success of this work here at the Ellel Grange and we give all the Glory to Jesus.
Yours in His service

Ian Coates
Centre Director

Behind the Scenes at Ellel Grange

INTERVIEW WITH ANDREW HUDDLESTON:

Hello Andrew,

Tell me a little about yourself and your family.

I am 32. I have always lived in Brookhouse, a little village near Lancaster. I live at home with my mother and father and brother and sister. Two other brothers have moved out having got married a few years ago.

How did you become a Christian?

From being brought up in a Christian home, I went to several conferences and meetings and have made several commitments to faith in Christ Jesus over those years. The most important one was probably at a Billy Graham crusade in Lancaster when I was about 15. I was baptized about 10 years ago in a little stream in the grounds of where I used to work as a cook.

How did you become a cook?

I have always liked baking since I was about 8 and one day before I had left school, I had made a pie for a church event. Somebody tasted it and asked me if I would like to come and work for them at Littledale Hall (near the Lake District) and I agreed. So I started to learn to cook professionally and carried on cooking there for the next 16 years until the place closed down. Then I came to work here.

UK Speaking Tour with Frida Gashumba:

The story of a miraculous escape from the Rwandan genocide

From the top selling book Frida Chosen to Die, Destined to Live

You are invited to hear Frida's dramatic story of life amid the horror of genocide, and how she was utterly transformed by the power to forgive and love her enemies.

Frida witnessed her family being massacred by Hutu men with machetes and was then asked how she wanted to die. She could not afford a bullet, which they offered to sell her, so instead received what should have been a fatal blow to the head. She was put in a mass grave with her slaughtered family only to find herself still alive and conscious. She eventually climbed out of the pit covered in filth and blood. Frida will not forget her traumas, but the healing God brought is miraculous. Today this young woman has an important message for the world.

"This book demonstrates the depths of human depravity and witnesses to the triumph of grace, love and forgiveness through Christ. An inspiration."
