Every year in Jerusalem there is a special prayer conference held in Israel which is attended by intercessors who have a heart for Israel and the Jewish people. There are many others, however, who have the same heart but who are unable to travel to Israel for this precious time. 

We are delighted to be able to invite you to join us to hear the same speakers as at the Jerusalem event and share in the intercessory responsibility that God's people have for Israel and the Jewish people.  With political, religious and personal insight, the week will be led by three committed intercessors who live and work in Israel and are called under God to stand in the gap for God’s chosen people.

“Let’s remember that all these troubles are but the “birth pangs” of the coming of the Messiah. And let us be encouraged to have true hope and pray in faith as we read these further words from the prophet Haggai (2:7–9): “ ‘And I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the LORD of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the LORD of hosts.”

While there are many things we believers are called to do in this natural world, they must all derive from a spiritual attitude of listening to God and praying for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Eliyahu Ben-Haim

A veteran immigrant from the United States, Eliyahu is the chairman and a board member of Intercessors for Israel. He is a member of King of Kings Community in Jerusalem and also has an international teaching ministry. Eliyahu has traveled extensively worldwide in prayer ministry, leading prayer teams to strategic places to defend Israel among the nations, open doors for evangelism and aliyah (Jewish immigration to Israel), and prepare the way for the Lord's return. He distributes a newsletter called the Sound of the Shofar, whose purpose is to inform the Church worldwide about what is really happening in Israel and to call it to pray for Israel.

Chuck Cohen

A veteran immigrant from the United States, Chuck is a director and board member of Intercessors for Israel. After having served with King of Kings Community in Jerusalem for 17 years, he is currently attending El Roii Congregation. Chuck preaches, teaches, and writes about the Church's God-given commission to stand with Israel and the Jewish people. He is involved in several international conferences in Jerusalem, travels and speaks internationally, and has been featured on several Christian television and radio programs. He and his wife, Karen, have written Roots of Our Faith, a study of the Old Testament foundations of New Testament doctrine. Watchmen from Jerusalem, Chuck and Karen's newsletter, provides a biblical perspective on the news and informs readers of events in Israel and the world, with the goal of fueling the fires of intercession.

Ofer Amitai

A sabra (native-born Israeli), Ofer is the pastor of Congregation El Roii ("the God who sees me," Genesis 16:13) in Jerusalem. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Ofer is a director and board member of Intercessors for Israel. He travels internationally, speaking at conferences and congregations, to foster prayer for Israel and teach about God's heart in restoring His chosen people, among other subjects. He distributes a newsletter called Fruit of the Land.
