Christian Leadership - Introduction

What better way is there of equipping the church than equipping its leaders?
In a time when the world seems to be darkening and the church seems to be increasingly divided, politically correct and self-serving there can be heard a deep cry for God-ordained leaders of honesty and integrity.

Leaders who can rise to the challenge of leading the Body of Christ who know the call and challenges of serving the Living God and are willing to count the cost of being an under-shepherd to the Great Shepherd. This course has been developed with these objectives in mind; knowing from our own experiences that the journey of a leader is often a lonely and hard road to walk.

“I came looking for help to be a better leader.  I left determined to be a better disciple!”

”The teaching was very helpful, clear and relevant - Biblical truth was exposed with such a gentle but powerful authority that you were always left wanting more - The ‘life example’ of the teachers taught me of the fruit of a life in service to Jesus and His body - Inspiring!”

“I return refreshed and with a new determination to take hold of God’s plan and purpose for me as a servant and a leader.”

“Biblical truth exposed with such a gentle but powerful authority that you were always left wanting more.”

Christian Leadership - Teaching Content

The Call and Challenge of Leadership

Knowing the undoubtable call of God on your life and the challenges that it brings is the starting point for Christian leadership. We need a balanced view of what it is to be a leader and the necessity of knowing God's calling - and of how to train up and work with a leadership team united in the vision and calling of God.

Spiritual Authority

Living in a time when the church is being pressured into being politically correct and democratic; the importance of understanding spiritual authority has become vital to the survival of God's church. This topic also looks into the undeniable and unbreakable chord between covenant relationship and godly authority.

Preparation for Leadership

Looking into the pilgrimages of God's leaders in the Scriptures, stories of the Saints down the centuries and the personal testimonies of the teachers, it is apparent that God uses the most difficult and unusual circumstances to prepare someone for Leadership!

Healing and Leadership

Why leaders cannot ignore their own need for personal healing! Vital keys to understanding the links between healing and true discipleship. Keys to Apostolic Leadership: Vision, Faith and Obedience A revealing study of the basic keys of leadership - dynamic and practical insight into how a leadership role must continuously include these three fundamental steps - it isn't a one-off experience!

The Cost of Obedience

Jesus was clear that following Him and being obedient to Him would cost us dearly. How much more so does it cost us to be a leader? But on the other hand, the blessings that follow obedience are beyond price! Keys to walking the walk without compromising our integrity.

The Business of Leadership

Being in leadership can be likened to running a company. This series of teachings looks at the comparison and delves into the real issues of living as a leader day by day.

Leadership and Spiritual Warfare

It is clear that the days of this world are getting darker and it can seem as though the enemy is winning on all fronts. But God has called us to intercede for those in our care and to warfare against the works of the enemy. Without warfare the battle cannot be won!

Willingness

A deep and challenging series of teachings on topics including: a willingness to listen, be real, lead, follow, be a dreamer, identify and discover a deeper intimacy with Jesus. A very practical approach to understanding the reality of what you need to be a leader.
