Moving on with God

This exciting course seeks to explore and help us understand more of the Father?s heart and especially His desire to see His children grow up into mature men and women of God and fulfil their destiny in Christ. Teaching will bring biblical understanding of God?s testings, prunings, chastenings and refinings which will inspire us all to move on with God into the plans and purposes He has for us. This four-day course will leave the afternoons free for rest and relaxation in the beautiful surrounds of Ellel Grange or the opportunity to visit the Lake District, the Trough of Bowland or the Yorkshire Dales. This very challenging course looks at God's stepping stones that take us from being 'babes, infants and children' of God to 'sons and daughters of God' and finally to 'men and women of God'. Topics to be taught include:

Hearing from God

How to discern what God is saying to us.

Trust and Obedience

Learning to move forward in faith and obedience even when we don't fully understand and despite the apparent consequences.

Faithfulness

The importance of faithfulness and perseverence even when we don't seem to be seeing any fruit.

Integrity

How to live lives that reflect our Christian values in a society that seems to be increasingly rejecting them. Course structure will leave the afternoons free for rest and relaxation. There will be a ministry night giving the opportunity to respond to the teaching and receive prayer.
