Ministry to Marriage

Marriage is God?s ordained way for couples to live together in a joyful relationship based on love, trust and mutual respect. The sad facts, however, are that many Christian couples have settled for second best in their marriages and are on the point of giving up. This course is for all married couples that want to enjoy their lives together and enter more fully into God?s plans and purposes for their marriage. It is specifically designed to strengthen marriages as well as to restore and heal those that are struggling and in difficulties. It offers couples a safe and secure place to spend personal time sharing their hearts with each other and receiving teaching, guidance, counsel and prayer ministry. This course looks at God's purposes and plans for marriage and at issues that damage and harm the loving relationship that God intended marriage to be. Topics covered include:

Emotional wounding

Explains how in marriage we can so easily emotionally wound and hurt our partner by the things we do, as well as the things we say and how we say them. Recognising and acknowledging that we have hurt one another is a major step forward to healing and improving our marriage.

Freedom from the past

Explains how unresolved issues from the past can be a major contributing factor to current marriage difficulties. Looks at the effects of generational influences, past relationships and our own individual emotional damage. How to be set free and begin to receive God's healing love is clearly taught.

Building and restoring marriage relationship

Practical teaching on how to improve communications within marriage and restore fractured trust. Helpful insights are given on how to become best friends, learn to resolve difficulties and face the future together. Saturday afternoon and evening is set aside to spend time together or meet, individually or as a couple, with members of our ministry team to talk about any particular difficulties or problems in your own marriage and receive prayer.
