Love's Healing Power

This course is for all who long to know more of God's love. Knowing, accepting and experiencing God's love brings healing, worth and security. Although we were created to love and to be loved, there is an emptiness inside many people because they have not been loved and cared for in the way God intended. The consequences can be that they...

• Do not understand what real love involves.
• Have difficulty in relating to, trusting and loving others.
• Struggle to love themselves in a right and Godly way.
• Are unable to develop a personal loving relationship with God.
• Fail to experience the healing love of Godin their lives.

This exciting course is also suitable for all who are involved in caring for others and who seek to be used by God to release His love to them. The aim of this course is to help people to become rooted in the love of God (Ephesians 3:16), and also be released so as to relate in love to others. The following topics are covered:

God's heart of love

This is the starting point. Explains what love is and where it comes from. It stresses particularly the infinite and unconditional love of God. Knowing how deeply God loves us needs to be understood in our hearts as well as our minds.

The nature, characteristics and expression of love

These are described from a Biblical perspective and contrasted with worldly views and behaviour which often block the ability to express love fully.

Hindrances to love

Understanding the root causes and hindrances to relating effectively to God and to others is crucial. Time is given on the course for exploring these both generally and individually.

Receiving God's love

Explains how we may prepare to receive God's love more fully and open our hearts to Him. The personal ministry, sharing and testimony time which follows provides the opportunity to apply the teaching received.

Outworking of love

Practical teaching on how we should reflect His love, be a channel of blessing to others and be released to respond to God's love, the love of others and the 'right' love of self.
