Healing for Women

This course is for women of all ages and backgrounds. The sensitive and practical teaching seeks to reveal the Father Heart of God, portray Jesus? compassion for and understanding of women as revealed in the Gospels, and to explore God?s call to maturity and wholeness. There will be opportunity to receive prayer ministry to bring God?s love to areas of need. It will also be a time to share with others on the course and appreciate time aside from the normal pressures of life. The teaching is specifically related to women and women's issues and focuses on such areas as:

Women - made in God's image

Explores the reality of women being made in His image. Particular attention is given to the emotional make-up of women, and how damage may affect body, soul and spirit.

Self worth, behaviour and relationships

The realities of living in a 'fallen world' and how the pressure to conform affects our self worth, behaviour and relationships are explained and illustrated.

Godly expression of female sexuality

Many christian women struggle with their sexuality. The practical issues are discussed sensitively, and areas of wounding addressed to bring God's healing love and restoration.

Fear and anxiety; anger and depression

Explains the effects of shock and trauma on the emotions, the nervous system, and behaviour and the causes and effects of ungodly anger, depression, fear, anxiety and obsessions.

Hormones and stress

Understanding how the normal hormonal system is unbalanced by emotional responses is an important part of receiving healing and restoration. Throughout the course encouragement and practical guidelines are given for moving on into maturity and wholeness. Opportunity is given to receive prayer ministry.
