Where should a Christian draw the line?
Peopel are increasingly confronted with options for medical diagnosis and treatment which lie outside traditional 'western' medical practice. When we are desperate for a solution to some disorder in our bodies, it is very tempting to try anything that might work.
For Christians there is a serious question. Does this practice have a spiritual basis which could do long-term harm, even if it seems to relieve the immediate problem?
Holistic treatment rightly acknowledges the complex nature of man, and the fact that he is more than just a physical body. However, restoration of our body, soul, and spirit needs to be within the safe boundaries of God's truth. This course will look at the principles behind the treatments on offer and will seek to give guidelines on how to avoid the spiritual minefields.
