Dear Reader, We "press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of" us (Phil. 3:12) The
work of Ellel Ministries began as a healing centre in the northwest of
England. Now, 20 years later it is a worldwide mission organisation
with outreaches into many different countries and with about 20
different centres serving the Body of Christ.

A Personal Letter from Peter Horrobin
Here are some of the things that are happening right now across the world:
In addition to all these special events every one of our centres is continuing with a regular, and sometimes intensive, series of training courses and Healing Retreats, as the various Ellel teams continue to minister according to the vision that God gave for the work so many years ago. These are very remarkable days for the whole Body of Christ – so much opposition to the Gospel in many places and simultaneously so many wonderful opportunities! God has called each of us personally to himself because He loves us – and then, also because He loves us – he equips us for service in His Kingdom. The greatest joy anyone can ever experience is being right at the centre of what God has made each one of us for. In the same way, God raises up different organisations for different purposes in the Body of Christ. God has raised Ellel Ministries at this time to play a part in making disciples, through seeing people set free to serve Him and then become what God intended them to be. Chosen to Die: Destined to Live The world is full of very hurting people, but in the midst of all their pain, it is such a joy to be training people to bring hope to the hopeless and healing for the hurting. In September Sovereign World will be publishing the extraordinary story of Frida – Chosen to Die: Destined to Live. Frida was buried alive during the Rwandan genocide of 1994 – but God rescued her and then set her on a pilgrimage of forgiveness and healing. Last year God brought the final stages of her physical and emotional healing to a conclusion at Ellel Grange during the Flagship School. This year God is moving her and her husband on to bring similar healing and deliverance to their fellow Rwandans. Look out for Frida’s book – you will find it one of the most challenging and inspiring reads you have ever had. It will also help you understand in a new way what the work of Ellel Ministries is all about. So, as you read this International News Update from the Ellel HQ, I pray you too, will be challenged and encouraged to continue praying for and supporting the work. With love and thanksgiving to God for all he has done Peter Horrobin International Director What's happened?Ellel in the North Rejoicing in Kremenchug, Ukraine and Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
Now that we (Peter Horrobin, Roger and Chris Pook, and team) are back from Ukraine and Russia (and recovering nicely from "Russia-lag"**), we want to share with you a wonderful fact: OUR GOD IS FAITHFUL! Every expense of the conferences in Ukraine and Russia was met in full - by donations, by conference offerings, and by the fact that both conferences were "standing-room only" as people who were thirsty for God flocked in to register. Even our difficult bus journey to Russia ended up as a blessing; by arriving in Rostov at 3 a.m., we saved a whole night's hotel costs for the team. And at both conferences, God came in power! Both conferences, in Ukraine and Russia, were a sell-out - over 600 people at each. Standing room only. Both conferences produced substantial free-will offerings, after we had told the people to give NOTHING if that was what God was telling them. The Volgograd ministry school had nearly 80 students and also produced a substantial free-will offering.
If we had not had enough to pay our bills, we would probably have been arrested, in Russia. But God provided for all our needs! I'll say it again: OUR GOD IS FAITHFUL! ** "Russia-lag". A state of spiritual, mental and physical exhaustion brought on by spending time travelling and working in Russia rather than sitting comfortably at home! NETS Term 3 Goes SouthThe 18 were sent out with great rejoicing! On 5th June, 14 NETS Term 3 students with four team members were prayed for and anointed before leaving Pierrepont for their Mission trip to South Africa. Before they left they were blessed by a love offering taken up by their fellow Term 1 students who joined in the Mission trip through prayer support back home at Pierrepont. The students come from a variety of countries including the UK, Australia, Germany, Taiwan and Africa. They left for the Mission with mixed emotions of excitement, anticipation of seeing God at work and, for some, just a little apprehension of moving out of their ‘comfort zones’ - but that is one of the challenges of being a NETS student! In expectation of their returning in rejoicing and thanksgiving we will bring you a report of their visit in the next newsletter. Ellel in the EastJill Southern and Jilly Lyon-Taylor left from Pierrepont on the 15th of June to travel to Taipei for a 5-day Prayer Ministry Skills course. They were then joined by Fiona Horrobin and Jan Vose from Ellel Grange for the Healing the Human Spirit Conference, which Fiona led on the weekend. Jan Vose writes:
"Around
800 people from 106 different churches across Taiwan attended the 'Healing the Human Spirit Conference'. The anointing
was tangible all through the conference and Fi's teaching was
exceptionally free and inspirational. The people were so open, so
receptive and responsive. One whole session was given over to ministry
and the LORD moved powerfully bringing healing and deliverance to a
great many.
"To
see and hear how the Lord is using the former NETS students here is
absolutely thrilling. There was a reunion this afternoon and to hear
them sharing, one by one, of how fruitful their lives are, moved us
over and over, to tears.
"Truly the Lord has done great things. Praise His Name!
The ladies then travelled to Kuala Lumpur to meet up with Peter Horrobin. The 'Empowering Believers' conference in Kuala Lumpur ran from Thursday June 28th to Saturday June 30th with teaching on a variety of topics including God’s Market Place strategy. Ellel Teaching Goes WestDown in the deep south of the USA, in the sunshine state of Florida and up north, in Minnesota, land of lakes and great rivers, Ellel USA is teaching the Modular School month by month.
Some of the Ellel teaching team are making their way out there from the UK to teach modular courses on two consecutive weekends in these wonderful places. They will also enjoy a few days sightseeing in Florida. In May, Paul and Liz Griffin went to teach the Modular course on deliverance ministry. Peter and Fiona Horrobin were on the same flight from Manchester to Florida, on their way to teach at a conference called ‘Pure Passion’ in Nashville, Tennessee, with David Kyle Foster. The next morning a large number of pastors and leaders gathered at English Acres (in the shade of a marquee tent) to attend a special breakfast meeting. After enjoying the delicious cooked food and a time of worship and fellowship, Peter Horrobin spoke about what God was doing in Ellel Ministries. Reaching the next generation!
