Onderwijsdag: Afwijzing

Iedereen heeft in zijn leven in meer of mindere mate te maken met afwijzing. Worden gepest, een verbroken relatie, of familie die je niet accepteert. Nog dieper gaan de gevolgen van echtscheiding, het overlijden van een dierbare of misbruik. Al deze dingen hebben een effect op de manier waarop we over onszelf denken en de manier waarop we met anderen omgaan. Zo kan ons gedrag worden bepaald door angst voor afwijzing, of het afwijzen van anderen.

Het is belangrijk om te ontdekken hoe afwijzing ons gedachtepatroon en onze relaties beïnvloedt. Alleen door dit te begrijpen kunnen we stappen zetten in het genezingsproces dat God voor ons heeft. Tijdens deze onderwijsdag zullen wie hier aandacht aan besteden. We gaan in op de oorzaken en gevolgen van afwijzing. Hoe we hier overheen kunnen komen en uiteindelijk Gods onvoorwaardelijke acceptatie ontvangen.

God's Comfort

Discover the beauty and power of God’s comfort

... rather than the temporal satisfiers of this world. Over-eating, smoking, television, alcohol, books, films, ... the list could go on and on. The truth is that we all search for comfort, and often in areas other than in God.

Taking the principles from the popular God’s Tape Measure-teaching (on over-eating) and appropriating it to cover many other forms of self-comfort, this teaching day looks into the reality of our need for comfort. It considers the soulish ways that we seek satisfaction in other things and deal with the consequences of meeting a need of the spirit with methods of the soul. We will learn how to acquire the true source of comfort for lasting peace instead of temporary relief from the ways of the soul. Comfort issues are often the main root of many besetting sins and addictions. Let’s learn how to walk out of bondage into freedom.

Christmas

Ellel Ministries Netherlands is looking back on a very special year. On 14th September the Lord gave us Huize Baak to use for His purposes. We are still deeply thankful for what He has given.

Recently feel the Lord leading us to use what He has given us to bless others - to freely give it away. That is why we would like to invite you, as supporter of our work, to join us for Christmas in a special event. This will be a totally free event, although a donation is always appreciated. Please feel welcome to join us on 24th December for this time of fellowship and rest.

Teaching Day: Rejection

We have all suffered rejection to some degree in our lives, perhaps during our time at school or as a result of broken relationships. It may be much deeper and have longer lasting effects such as a difficult divorce, the death of a loved one or even abuse by a trusted person.

This teaching day looks at the different causes of rejection and its damaging consequences. It will show ways to overcome the pain of being rejected and bring in the acceptance which God has for each of us.
