Het is geweldig om te zien hoe God de snelle ontwikkelingen rondom Ellel Ministries Nederland leidt. In de korte tijd die er nog rest tot de opening van Huize Baak moet er heel veel gebeuren. Maar God gaat hierin voor ons uit, dat is duidelijk zichtbaar! We ontmoeten de laatste tijd veel verschillende mensen. Velen van hen zijn bereid om ons te helpen, en leven met ons mee. God werkt door zijn kinderen heen om het werk in Nederland op te zetten. Daarom ben ik blij om u met deze nieuwsbrief op de hoogte te houden van alles wat er gebeurt binnen Ellel.

Dank- en gebedspunten

• De laatste studiedag en de cursus met Margaret Silvester waren indrukwekkend.
• Het is bijzonder hoe God ons mensen blijft geven die ons willen ondersteunen met praktische zaken.
• We hebben wijsheid nodig hoe meer mensen bereikt kunnen worden.
• Wilt u met ons meebidden voor de inkomsten om het volledige bedrag voor Huize Baak te kunnen financieren?

Huize Baak

De aankoop van Huize Baak is een groot geloofsavontuur. Op 15 februari hebben we de eerste aanbetaling gedaan. We weten dat God vraagt om Hem te gehoorzamen en te vertrouwen in Zijn voorziening.

Dat bleek wel duidelijk in de aanloop naar de aanbetaling van 320 duizend euro, 10 procent van het aankoopbedrag. In januari was er nog maar vierduizend euro binnen. Van alle kanten kwamen vragen op ons af over hoe we in zo'n korte tijd ooit zo veel geld bij elkaar konden krijgen.

Maar we bleven vertrouwen in God's voorziening en zagen hoe God op wonderbaarlijke wijze de financiën binnen bracht. Drie dagen voor de sluiting maakten we de balans op, maar we kwamen nog 55 duizend euro te kort. De volgende ochtend ontving ik een email van iemand die ons precies 55 duizend euro wilde lenen. Niemand wist dat dit bedrag nog nodig was!

We zijn diep onder de indruk van God. Hij is onze Jehova Jireh: Hij gaat voor ons uit en Hij voorziet. Het is geweldig om Huize Baak, met haar strategische liging in Europa, te gaan gebruiken voor Gods Koninkrijk.

De sleutel

Op 15 augustus krijgen we de sleutel. Maar dan moet ook de gehele financiering van 3.2 miljoen euro rond zijn. Mocht u in de gelegenheid zijn om ons financieel te helpen laat het ons weten via ellel@ellel.nl. Dit kan met een eenmalige schenking, een rente-vrije lening of het ondersteunen op maandelijkse basis.

Leven door de Heilige Geest

Was het tweede weekend van de Modulaire school, waarin Margaret Silvester sprak over de Heilige Geest. Zij deelde hoe belangrijk het is om ons leven te laten leiden door de Heilige Geest en op Hem te wachten. God vraagt ons om Hem gehoorzaam te zijn en te wandelen in Zijn wil voor ons leven met de juiste hartsgesteldheid. Het is aan onszelf in hoeverre we de Heilige Geest de ruimte geven in ons leven om Hem Zijn werk te laten doen. Maar laten we ons ook vormen?

We ervaarden grote onderlinge openheid in de groep modulaire studenten en zij zijn samen verlangend naar meer van Gods Geest in hun leven en het leven van andere om hen heen.

Dear Reader,

It's amazing to see how God is leading the rapid developments at Ellel Ministries Netherlands. A lot needs to be done in the short time before the opening of Huize Baak. But God clearly shows that He's going ahead of us! We are in the process of meeting with different people. Many of them are willing to help and join us in prayer. God is at work, through is children, to establish the work in the Netherlands. I am proud to present to you the first instalment of this newsletter, that will keep you informed of all that happens within Ellel Ministries Netherlands.

Prayer and Thanksgiving

• The previous teaching day and the weekend course with Margaret Silvester was really helpful to the delegates.
• God continues to provide people who are willing to offer us practical support in different ways.
• We need wisdom in how to reach more people.
• Would you please pray with us for the finances needed for the purchase of the Baak Centre?

Huize Baak

The process of acquiring Huize Baak is a walk of faith. On 15th February we payed the first ten percent. We know that God asks us to be obedient, and to trust in His provision.

This clearly showed in the events leading up to paying the first instalment of 320,000 euros. In January we only had 4,000 euros. We felt challenged by questions about how we could ever get so much money in so little time.

But we continued believing in God's provision and saw Him bringing in the necessary finances. Three days before payment was due we were 55,000 euros short. The next morning I received an email promising us a loan of 55,000 euros. But nobody knew this was the exact amount we needed!

We are deeply moved by God. He is our Jehovah Jireh: He goes ahead of us and He provides. What an exiting prospect to use Huize Baak, situated in a strategic place in Europe, for God's Kingdom.

The keys
We'll be handed the keys on August 15th. This is also the day that the full payment of 3.2 million euros is due. If you are able to help us financially, please let us know by replying to this email. You can help us by a one-off donation, an interest-free loan, or by monthly giving.

Moving under the anointing of the Holy Spirit

This was the second modular course. Margaret Silvester taught on the importance of being led by the Spirit and to wait for Him. God asks us to walk in obedience to Him, in His will for our lives, with the right heart attitude. It is up to us to allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in us. Are we enabling Him to shape us?

During the course we experienced an openness among the delegates. Together they are open for all that the Lord is doing for and through them.

5th May - Rejection

Rejection is something we have all experienced. Its effects on our lives can be enormous.

During this teaching day Paul Watson teaches on the effects of rejection, how God heals them, and how we can experience God's unconditional love for us.

11th-31st May - Deliverance Ministry 1

This is part four of the Modular School, but open for everyone. Teaching on Jesus' deliverance ministry shows that it is still relevant today, both for our own lives and in helping others.
