Teaching Day: Rejection

We have all suffered rejection to some degree in our lives, perhaps during our time at school or as a result of broken relationships. It may be much deeper and have longer lasting effects such as a difficult divorce, the death of a loved one or even abuse by a trusted person.

This teaching day looks at the different causes of rejection and its damaging consequences. It will show ways to overcome the pain of being rejected and bring in the acceptance which God has for each of us.

Speaker

Paul Watson is the leader of the work of Ellel in Australia. He is married to Diane who is the Centre Director of the Sydney Ellel centre Gilbulla, and they have three sons and a daughter, and one granddaughter. Paul worked for 10 years in the mining industry in finance and accounting before entering theological college to train for full time ministry in the Anglican Church in Sydney. He pastored in three churches until 2004 when he was led by the Lord to join Ellel Ministries in his current role.

Paul brings 15 years of pastoral ministry experience into his teaching. During that time he sought to incorporate the teaching of Ellel Ministries into the ministry practice of his church.

Paul has a passion to help people discover the truth of the unconditional acceptance of our Heavenly Father for those who have suffered from the effects of rejection throughout their lives.
