Introduction

Healing is a need that is universal

Who has not experienced painful circumstances in their life? Some may still be involved in ongoing situations where the wounds inflicted affect their quality of life and effectiveness in Christian service. Ellel Ministries is committed to bringing healing into the lives of both those who have been part of the Body of Christ for some time and also to those who need the saving and healing power of Jesus for the first time.

According to the model Jesus lived, we endeavor to welcome people and then bring teaching into their lives that will enable them to receive healing and bring them into wholeness. Our teaching model tackles in detail the ground that must be covered in ministering to people so that root problems which are often so well buried below the surface can be identified and dealt with. By removing the roots, as opposed to dealing with surface issues, spiritual, emotional and physical health can be attained. This is not an end in itself, but is necessary to effectively release us into God’s calling upon our lives and the exercise of our giftings. Special emphasis is given to learning how to listen to God for each individual so that ministry is led by the Holy Spirit according to the individual’s situation and need.

2-Week School of Healing and Discipleship (Part B) - Format

Who Should Attend?

Those who have a heart to see a full outworking of Jesus’ commission to His Church
Those with pastoral responsibilities in the Body of Christ
Those with a calling on their life to heal the sick and set captives free
Those who are in church leadership or lead house-groups, mission or ministry teams
Missionaries in need of refreshment, encouragement or further training
Young people preparing for Christian service
Those at a ‘crossroads’ of life and uncertain of the next step
Those moving towards retirement who desire to give their best to the Lord in the precious years remaining to them

The Program

The School program will include:

Lively, concise teaching sessions from teachers experienced in ministering healing and deliverance and discipling others

Comprehensive notes and worksheets

Various ways of illustrating the material

Group work supervised by mature leaders experienced in the ministry

The opportunity for a limited amount of personal ministry

Meaningful praise, worship and fellowship

The school format is modularized into four 2-week parts (A, B, C and D) and are designed to be taken in sequence. The teaching in Part A and B form the foundations of truth and ministry. Part C and D look in depth at additional key areas of ministry. There is a focus on the practical side of both personal growth and ministry practices throughout the program.

2-Week School of Healing and Discipleship (Part B) - Teachers

All teaching on Ellel Ministries Schools is under the overall direction of Peter Horrobin, the International Director of the work. There will be contributions from various members of the Ellel Teaching team, together with some of our Associate Teachers.

The team includes people from a wide range of backgrounds, including teachers, pastors, businessmen and professionals. They teach from a rich understanding of God’s word, personal experience of His healing power in their own lives, compassion and love for the hurting, and from continuing practical experience in discipling and healing.
