Travel Directions to Ellel Ministries Canada - Derbyshire Downs

Caution – if  you are using GPS or internet directions, there are 2 ‘Hanna Roads’ near Westport. Derbyshire Downs, the home of Ellel Ministries Canada in Ontario, is on Wolfe Lake 6km west of Westport on Hwy 12.

From Kingston (travel time 45 – 50 minutes)

a.  From

Division Street North

becomes Hwy 10, through PerthRoad Village (47km from Hwy 401)

Slight left (north-west) onto the 9^th Concession for 2 km

At the stop sign turn left on Hwy 12

After 3.3km, just past the graveyard (on the left), turn right on

Hanna Road

(opposite Concession 12).

Derbyshire Downs, 183 Hanna Road

is on left after 900 meters (white fence, paved driveway).

b.  From

Gardiner's Road North

becomes Highway 38, through Harrowsmith and Verona.

At Godfrey turn right on to

Westport Road

.  After 19km orange flashing light (Fermoy) straight on for further 4.5km then left into

Hanna Road

(opposite Concession 12).

Derbyshire Downs, 183 Hanna Road

is on left after 900 meters (white fence, paved driveway).

From Ottawa (travel time 1 hr 45 minutes approx.)

Hwy 417 Queensway West

Take Carleton Place Exit which is Hwy 7.  Follow Hwy 7 to

Carleton Place

At the second set of traffic lights, turn left on Hwy 15 (to SmithsFalls)

Follow Hwy 15 through SmithsFalls.  Follow signs towards Kingston(Hwy 15)

Travel on Hwy 15 through Portlandto Crosby.  Turn right on Hwy 42 (west) toward Westport

Drive through Westport and at the stop sign (T in the road) turn left (west) on to Hwy 12.

Follow Hwy 12 for 6.2kms, just past the graveyard (on the left), turn right on

Hanna Road

(opposite Concession 12).

Derbyshire Downs, 183 Hanna Road

is on left after 900 meters (white fence, paved driveway).

From Toronto

Highway 401 East to Exit 611 turn on to Hwy 38 then follow directions from Kingston via Hwy 38.

Peterborough Hwy 7 East  go past Hwy 38 further 13km and take exit to Hwy 36 south on

Bolingbroke Road

towards Bolingbroke.

After Bolingbroke, stay on Hwy 36, (

Bolingbroke Road

becomes

Mountain Road

.) 

On arrival Westport T Junction (opposite Beer Store), turn right onto Hwy 12 west.

After 6.1km, just past the graveyard (on the left) turn right into

Hanna Road

(opposite Concession 12).
