About Telefriend

Telefriend is a listening ministry where the aim of every “Telehelper” is to make each caller feel they have been heard by at least one other person and that they are important to, and heard by, God.

Telefriend was established in South Africa in 1986 by Derek and Beryl Puffett. Telefriend National operates under the covering of Ellel MinistriesSouth Africa. The individual centres are hosted by their local churches and are funded by community donations.
