Ellel Ministries derives its name from its first building in England, Ellel Grange, in the parish of Ellel in Lancashire. The name Ellel in old English means "All Hail". In Hebrew it means "God of Gods" or "King of Kings and Lord of Lords". In Chinese it means "Love flowing outwards".
So Ellel could be said to mean 'All hail Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords' and be expressed as 'Love flowing outwards' into a fallen and broken world.
The vision for Ellel Ministries has always been to do the work of the Kingdom by preaching the Good News, binding up the broken-hearted and proclaiming freedom and release from darkness to those who are bound - we have sought to make the truths of Isaiah 61:1 a reality.
"Rarely do I find a ministry more equipped to meet the needs of today's society. Earthed in biblical integrity, Ellel presents the Gospel in a meaningful and practical manner, releasing healing into people's lives."
